MACHINE QUILTING ~ Free Motion
Various methods of free motion quilting will be demonstrated and put into practice on a small quilt. The concentration will be on machine quilting rather than machine piecing. We will do straight-line quilting and free motion quilting, including designs, continuous curve, outline, echo, stippling and meandering. This will be a hands-on class and you need to be familiar with your (well tuned) sewing machine. Please bring your machine to class. Some quilting experience will be helpful.

Machine Quilting ~ Underground Railroad Sampler Quilt NEW CLASS!
In this class you will construct the Underground Railroad sampler quilt from Quilt in a Day ™ When you register please let the registrar know if you will need a book. The book will be available in class. You can sew a few blocks or as many as 15 traditional blocks (or more) to put a quilt together. Learn how these blocks may have played a roll in communication between the slaves and how it helped them on their way to freedom. The skill is Intermediate. The materials list will be available in the first day of class. You will need to bring your sewing machine to class after the first meeting.
Textbook: Underground Railroad Sampler from Quilt in a Day ™ by Eleanor Burns and Sue Bouchard, will be available in class for a fee of $20.00 tax is included

Drivers Education
Learn to Drive, Learn to Survive

Kinder gym
This class is for three, four, and five year olds. It teaches children the beginning fundamentals of gymnastics. They will learn coordination and build strength and flexibility. Gymnastics equipment will be used such as: The balance beam, mini trampoline, vaulting box, and much more. We will break for summer. Classes will resume August 28

Beginning Gymnastics
Boys and girls age six and up will learn the basic fundamentals of floor gymnastics. Coordination skills, flexibility, and strength will be built. Basic tumbling will be taught such as: Cartwheels, backbends, front and back rolls, round offs, and front limbers. Classes will resume August 28.

Advanced Gymnastics

Join a fast growing trend! Taught by long time valley instructor Sue Bouk, this class is the perfect break from your busy day and a great way to exercise with low impact.
