Dear Friends:
It seems as though children were just getting out of school, and it’s time for them to go back again. Summer is over, and we’re moving into a new season. Valley-Wide has a fall and winter line-up with activities for children and adults alike.
The Hemet City Council is preparing for a new season as well with new businesses and other commercial projects. Red Robin Restaurant is very close to their Grand Opening date, with Winco, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Sonic Burgers and Buffalo Wild Wings close behind them.
With the affordable housing in Hemet, young families continue to move into our community, not only for the housing prices, but for the opportunities available for their children. They have Valley-Wide to depend on for sports, arts and crafts, as well as other activities. Not only do the children benefit from Valley-Wide, but there are fun activities offered for adults as well.
Hemet is a great place to live. All the members of our “City Family” are dedicated to the goal of improving our quality of life. The employees and volunteers who are a part of our Public Works Department, Police and Fire Departments, Building and Planning, the Library and all of the departments throughout the City are working hard every day for the citizens of Hemet. We are proud of every one of them.
We again offer our congratulations and thanks to Valley-Wide for another year of successful service to our community.
Sincerely,
Marc Searl
Mayor
